Washing the face with soap regularly is a mistake because it wash away the oil but leave a dry skin that is a stimuli for further and greater secretion of oils by the glands...I recommend to wash the face with a product called "Effaclar purifying foaming gel" of laboratories La Roche-Posay, it has an acid ph so it is not a soap and it is best tolerated by skins with acne. Using this along with claritrimicine 1% gel or liquid helps a lot to control acne...I hope this may help somebody...
