You did not mention one reason for weak eyes, that is looking at the computer screen for long time.
The weakness of the eyes is due to the elongation of the eyeball and so the eyes dont focus where they should and that is why glasses are prescribed to correct this defect.

If you download K Lite codec pack, it has Media player classic which will play all your previews.
We should know which are the files we are seeding as LT seeds, so that we keep those files longer.
You are right, if anybody wants good video or audio they should buy it.
