its called seeding and its a sorta required thing to do in the torrent world... you can stop it though, as and when you like...

if you could give us a link to the page where you downloaded this torrent from, its quite possible that either its a dead torrent or the client is having a difficult time connecting to the seeders... considering your points level, i think thats a factor too...

here's what you do... stop the torrent, right click and select Manual Hash Check and then resume once the yellow light is gone... it should finish downloadin after that... :)

its the P2SP seeders... sometimes it does download more than needed... if your downloads are getting stuck at 99% or so, then stop the torrent, right click & select manual has check and then start the torrent again...

i'm not as yet sure you can... maybe possible by using BitComet's browser but you could add torrent sites to your IE favorites and they'd show in BitComet too...

one big file, meaning a rar file of a complete album right? in that case, extract the rar archive to a specified folder on your computer and then add them to iTunes from there...

quite a few things to note when downloading torrents

1. File size

2. Authentication from other users

3. Valid name & maybe reputed rippers or release groups

4. Finding a reliable enough site

use btjunkie.org or thepiratebay.org, they seem to be the ones most reliable and with high number of seeders and search results...
