i have the same thing. i think the second base is suppost to be mainly a military base and your main base is where you are suppost to keep the majority of resources thats why there isn't any basements
i agree being able to earn matrix like energon and etc would make the game easier but that would mean the prices would also have to be raised so its iffy either way
