It has been shown that there are textual accounts of the great flood which came directly from ancient Mesopotamian culture. Read the bible Adam and Eve were cast out of the garden of Eden. Stating this was the first man and woman in the bibles creation. They then had 2 sons Cain and Abel. Cain then killed Abel and then cane leaves and goes to the land of Nod and takes a wife. Where did the other people come from? Is cain comitting incest with a sister since a woman lineage isnt important in the bible. Is the land of Nod next to the garden of eden? Again the bible is a good teaching tool but does not tell the whole story. Only the story of the first people to belive in a montheism.
