great post. it's true we did grow up prejudiced and not only prejudiced , but ignorant.some of us eat turkey for thanksgiving, slaughter a pig on christmas, a lamb for easter, in the name of religion(i wonder if those arent just pretexts to get stuffed with meat nowadays).fortunately, some wild animals, meant to be on the lower links of nature's chainfood(gazelles for example), have glands, that diminish theyre pain while they're being ripped apart.i doubt the chicken would have them, and while doctors praise fish and chicken meat for being healthy, we do put our own appetites under the flag of superiority. as for the dog, since some of us dont like its taste, we just keep him around for entertainment and beat the hell out of him if he dares not obey. it is not cruelty towards animals, its a brainwashing tradition, going on for centuries. starting from horses, dogs, we beat , ate tortured and did whatever thought necessary to turn the world in our favor. im not an animal ,lover, god knows i hate cat behaviour, dog's obiedience(he was any smarter, he'd bite u each time u throw a boot in his head, no matter how long u owned him), i hate roaches, ants, long sharp claws and teeth on any breathing four legged being. but i do nothing . they're there, maybe less of a parasyte than i am to earth/i wont compete with them by tryng to proove im better.
