If you can help with vista I would love to hear it. I have made my ip address static and told my router which listening port to use. Worked fine until recently upgrading vista to sp1 and bit comet to 1.00 now constant yellow light. Although the light did turn green a couple of days ago inexplicable for about an hour and then turned back to yellow.

I have tried all sorts. I have even tried turning off my firewall altogether. I have signed in, installed speed up bit torrent type program and installed peer guardian beta. Always that yellow light, haunting me, tormenting me, wakes me screaming in the night.

Hi, I recently upgraded Bitcomet to version 1.00 but before trying it out also installed SP1 for vista. Now I constantly have this yellow light and am limited to only local seeds. My download speeds are very up and down. Sometimes they go over 200Kb which I am quite happy with but at others they will be down near Zero.

I went through all the rigmarole of setting the listening port on the router months ago and that was sure a hassle, but now I have all of that set up and everything was going well until I made these upgrades.

Does anyone know what the root of my problems is? Some folk suggest it is the new Bitcomet that is causing the problems, others say it is vista sp1. Hopefully this will be solved in time by some clever boffin but for the time being I am just getting more and more frustrated and confused.
