Excellent post. I like Norse mythology and Loki is one of my favourites deities in their religion (beside Thor). I like stories which describe their common advantures. There is one excellent comic i read few days ago, which describes his character very well, it's name is Valhalla. Have my vote :)

Well, Norsemen and Slavs are decedents from northern branch of Indo-European group. There are many common things between them, but also a lot of specific things, which make their religion different. Names of deities and their functions are different, similar, but not the same. Thanks for vote :)

Hi! Thanks for invitation. Nice post but very debatable. Every single person has right to tell it's own opinion, which is excellent thing. I, personally, believe in God. I don't have attention to force someone to think exactly like me, but I must say that world without it's Perfect Creator is incomplete and impossible. Flash is weak and it disappears over time, but soul lives forever. I added you as a friend and I hope we will continue this. vote for you

Excellent post! These pictures also go well with text and make the story complete. Beside the Tolkien's world of Middle Earth, influence of Norse mythology can be noticed in magical world of game called Warhammer. One big vote for this :)

Hi again! i have read it few min. ago and it is really mighty! Brian Boru was very important king in Irish and even more further, in whole Celtic history. There is one beautiful song which bears his name and is performed by famous band Cruachan. One special vote for your post!

There is one excellent book about Veles runes- Book of Veles (Velesova Knjiga on Serbian), written by dr Radivoje Pesic. That book also gives extra information about early Slavic history, which is less known.

yeah, it can be said like that. Germanic tribes were very connected with Slavic in their old Homeland, so a lot of gods bear different names, but their functions are more or less the same.
