I am new to this. y do i have to upload and how do i do it? what is a seed? how cum when I burn movies to disc they dnt work HEEELLLPPPP!!!!!

i have tried burnig downloaded movies on to a dvd but they wnt play in my dvd players I have a dvd r/rw dvd writeris there any thing i can do as when i try to play the dvds it say wrong disc or disc error i have tried playing them on different dvd players and it keeps saying the same thing
