Oh, last time, I haven’t got back to you about my upload ratio problem with demonoid which I speculate has something to do with my use of BitComet. Well the good news then was, after I got your reply as well as Daz’, my ratio seemed to properly update itself! Thank God..wasn’t necessary for me to undergo all those Portforwarding process or update to a later version of my BitComet. Since then, I never got a below 1.0 ratio...until, well, you know, the Demonoid webstie went down...

Anyway, hope your doing good! And send me some news...lol..

Hey Zeke... I have this serious problem with Demonoid...Since my first ratio update yesterday, my ratio dramatically dropped from a stable 1.00 to 0.67 WITHOUT DOWNLOADING. In fact, I even tried to upload a single torrent, just to try, and it’s just a little 61.12 MB...it’s wierd coz when I got my first ratio change, it was stated there something like 0.67 MB downloaded while only 0.45 uploaded generating a ratio of a low 0.67... I began to worry thus I searched for some info from Demonoid’s FAQs. There’s a section there saying: "Please do not use BitComet, BitLord and its derivatives. They cause your ratio to be misreported, and cause transfer troubles." I thought that was most likely the cause of my ratio getting too low. So I let my computer open for another half day, just to upload and upload my torrent with the hope of improving my ratio.. And then when I checked this evening, it turned like this: Uploaded: 1.19 GB

Downloaded: 1.45 GB

Ratio: 0.82 (Updated once a day)

The shocking part there is how I reached those gigabytes while I beleieved I’Ve only uploaded (and I mean ONLY UPLOADED, I wasn’t downloading anything AT ALL!) still less than a gigabyte...

Now my question is: aren’t you experiencing similar problems as u use BitComet? I love BitComet too though I tried to upload yesterday thru Utorrent but it was crap, it almost, if not totally, CANNOT connect, asking u rather for Port Forwarding - a very long uggh process which is impossible for me to do with my wireless broadband.. Now I don’t know how to improve this ratio..It’s really dismaying.. How is ur use of BitComet? Btw, prefer sticking with my 0.90 version – I’m much comfortable with it…

Lol..well that isn’t me in the avatar..That’s my idol and a person very close to my heart, Gia Carangi...she went through a lot of pain in life which I could relate to a lot...also her characteristics and eveyrhting... if u want, u could research more about her.. there are lots of great sites dedicated to her...also in YouTube, u’ll find loads of interesting and informative videos about Gia.. She’s a nice sweet girl, died of AIDS at only age 26.. Perhaps u have heard about her in one way or another?.. She’s a really popular supermodel at the late 70’s and early 80’s..an unforgettable woman..

It seems almost, if not totally impossible to catch Demonoid’s Public Registration open these days (well been waiting since July! )...
