Answer: Why not? Lets just RESERVE all the government posts in ratio of the castes in India. For lesser posts, the tenure may be taken in count. So for say the post of the PM, a sikh can stay in for abt 4% of the tenure (or abt 73 days Hindus can stay for 80% of the time (giving representation to all castes like Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas & "Harijans" )in their due proportion. Well you would actually have to count the minutes considering that sub castes, inter castes, non castes, Women, elderly & other quotas would still be kept in mind. I think this solution would please us all. Infact, we should move ahead & reserve positions in private sector too. & while I am typing, why not change how things are done? Like why should we not question the stupidity of the people running for the civil services to be atleast graduates? I mean if we can have political masters for whom being even literate is not an essential qualification, why should the civil servants be made to undergo this torture of education? Only once we are divided along a thousand billion lines of caste, region, religion, skin colour, language, height, weight, hair density etc can we truly move forward.
