The malignant forces of the universe have converged to form an incredible and violently unique entity called Freevil. This amazing band is from Sweden and aggressive powerful thrash metal is its style. In the last years, there's been a wave of thrash metal revival going on in the metal scene in an effort to restore the popularity of the subgenre. You know, when Metallica actually played good music (Kill´em All era) and Testament did a great album after another while the Germans flooded the world with "fuck this world" music with great bands such as Kreator and Sodom.
"Freevil Burning" shows clearly that with a high amount of talent the subgender has still a lot to offer. As it is the tendency now days, Freevil mixes different elements of other metal subgenres to stand out of the rest. You'll hear a lot of keyboard flourishes, an instrument not usually use in thrash metal. Also there are some death metal riffs here and there accompanied by evil harsh vocals that seem to be from the underworld domains.
This is energetic music as good thrash always is. So violent and convulsing that it could bring a dead alive. If hell existed, this is what the devil would be listening to while torturing all the sinful souls. One can just breathe the aggression while listening to this stuff...don't be afraid when a whisper in your ear says "Remember to do evil...it's free"
