Amethystium
is a one man project of the Norwegian multi-instrumentalist Øystein Ramfjord. His
musical style can be described as the combination of ambient music elements
such as slow tempo and background soothing orchestration with high doses of
electronic core rhythms and new age elements including monk chanting, angelic
voices, non traditional chants and non traditional instrumentation.
As a whole,
Amethystium produces the most mesmerizing songs in this musical spectrum. The
albums flow in a stream of great melodies, landscapes and dark passages that
will take you in a true mystical experience. The richness of sounds and music
layers is amazing and you will require several listening sessions to fully
comprehend the majestic proportions of Amethystium´s music.

for tranquility and meditation, Amethystium is the band that explains why I am
