3002006
This is probably one of the most visually appealing movies I have seen in a long time. It was like watching artwork come to life, a feast for the eyes.
2 The 40 Year Old Virgin
The 40 Year Old Virgin2005
This movie is possibly the funniest movie ever. It also has a great message within it. Best one liners in a long time.
3 61*
61*2001
This movie is well-done. They paid attention to details. Billy Crystal is a fan who remembers this era fondly and did a great job telling the very interesting story of Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.
4 Air Force One
Air Force One1997
This motion picture is in the best traditions of Harrison Ford films, e.g., lots of action, a hero saving the day, etc.
5 Alien
Alien1979
`Alien' knows how to scare you. It crawls beneath the surface of your skin and festers, irritating your flesh until you can't take the itch anymore.
6 Aliens
Aliens1986
This film has a completely different feel than the original film! This is a good thing, rather than make the same movie Ridley Scott did, James Cameron, goes all out in this one.
7 Alien³
Alien³1992
Sigourney Weaver does just as wonderful a job with this film as she did with the first two.
8 Alien: Resurrection
Alien: Resurrection1997
Overall, the script is extremely creative and for the better part of the movie, the suspense/action factors are there.
9 American Beauty
American Beauty1999
10 American History X
American History X1998
11 American Pie Presents Band Camp
American Pie Presents Band Camp2005
12 Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy2004
I think that what makes Anchorman work is an underlying glee at lampooning the self-important, phony airs put on by talking head all over the country.
