Chinese artist Li Wei from Beijing started off his performance series 'Mirroring' and later on took off attention with his 'Falls' series which shows the artist with his head and chest embedded into the ground. His work is a mixture of performance art and photography that creates illusions of a sometimes dangerous reality. Li Wei states that these images are not computer montages and works with the help of props such as mirror, metal wires, scaffolding and acrobatics.

Hm...I don't think so...I think it's some kind of ilusion optic or somethin...
Either way, it's a real artist to come up which such cool images. Reminds me a bit of the stunts done in The Matrix trilogy. There they used wires for the air-salto-kick-flip-shots. And with CGI they removed the wires from the scenes.
Yes, perhaps that's the trick that he used to get those kind of pictures...

It doesn't matter Photoshop or not!This is a Great Ideas of Artist!Thank you for show us this pictures!I think artist such as Li Wei dont use Photoshop or something like that,he is artist on high level!I like it...got my vote!
