So I couldn't help but notice that everyone seems to be picking on Santa this year. Apparently he's not politically correct enough anymore.
The santas in Australia are told that they can't say "ho ho ho" anymore for two reasons. First reason is it supposedly frightens children. I’ve never seen a kid get scared by the phrase “ho ho ho” but who knows, maybe it’s really terrifying. Second, some women might be offended because of the American slang term "ho". Personally I'm offended that they're trying to sensor Santa, that's just not right. By the way the solution is to have the santas say "ha ha ha" instead. I hate the idea of santas laughing like that, it’s not nearly of cheerful as “ho ho ho”. If you want to read more there's a link to the story below, or you could just google it.

Shortly after reading about Australia’s attempts to sensor the beloved fat man I read that the US surgeon general wants Santa to slim down. Not only that but a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health suggests that kids leave Santa healthy snacks instead of cookies. This is just plain wrong. How can Santa's stomach shake like a bowl full of jelly if he's not fat? And if kids are leaving him healthy snacks instead of cookies how long is he going to stay jolly? How happy would you be if you had to eat a healthy snack at every house in the world in one night? Luckily I'm not the only one who thinks the idea of a thin Santa is blasphemy. Keep Santa Fat.com is a petition to keep the jolly man plus sized. Not only that for every signature, DVA Advertising and Public Relations will donate a pound of food to America’s Second Harvest. So I encourage you to sign the petition and take a look around the site.

People have got to leave poor Santa alone. He’s an icon and not to be messed with, no matter how politically incorrect he may become.
