text in resource browser
Size: Large, Medium, Small Sat Jul 12, 08 03:47 PM | Category: My Postbar

I don't know how it happened but the text in the BC Ressource Browser is really small and hard to read, at least on some webpages such as a Google search. I think I may have pressed a shortcut key to shrink the text, but I don't know when or how it happened. Could someone help me fix it?

Try reducing your screen resolution or increase the size of the text in Internet Explorer

I'd rather not change my screen resolution since it would affect the size of everything else on my computer. Also, I checked if the same problem was in IE, but it isn't, so I'm thinking that the problem occured within the Resource Browser alone (I also checked Fire Fox, no problem there).

I might try reinstalling the browser or BitComet if I can't figure out a way.

Thanks for your suggestions though.

So I reinstalled BC, and...no luck. :(

I even uninstalled BC first and then installed it again; that didn't work either. So now I don't know what to do. Please help.

ps. I went from 1.00 to 1.01

there is a error that open .mht file by IE.

set: IE opens the .mht as default setting.

you can restore your IE.

I can restore IE how?

tools

google search "restore IE "

first, you'd better set: IE opens the .mht as default setting.

C:\Program Files\BitComet\fav

select a mht file, right click, select "Open With",choose IE,and check "always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

restart BC

try it

I made the .mht files associate with IE, and did the "restore IE", but it didn't fix the problem.

I want to clearify the issue.

Not all text is small on all webpages. This blog site actually appears normal within the resource browser. Only search engine sites seem to be affected... so Google, Yahoo, MSN, The Pirate Bay, all have really small text. (TPB site is small to the point that I can't read it).

Hopefully that will make more sense to people.

i'm sorry that can't help you.

I have up graded to version 1.03, in which the resource browser has been removed, so it is no longer an issue. Anyway, thank you to those who offered me assistance. :]
