why do human beings have to believe?

-is god merely a replacement for santa-clause when you get older and stop beleiving?

A feer tactic to keep people in order?

 

 

-maybe the world and life itself is just so messed up that we need some sort of hope.

 

-what if it's just false hope?

 

-what does he/she/it look like?

 

-is there a heaven or hell?

 

-will we go there weather we're notty

or nice?

 

-why do we need a reward such as the thought of heaven to keep order?

 

-why not just love people?

 

-does he have a purpose for us?

 

-why cant we just live and die without having to wander?

I'm a free spirit never had any family to tell me what to beleive.As lonely as i t may be not to have anyone,I am grateful because i have not been clouded by other people's beleifs. Even still I have moral values and a concious, I now the difference between right and wrong without having sucummed to religion.I beleive in peace and love,I like to help just because it feels right and not because its gonna get me into the gates of heaven.

I think of this universe as a whole ... everything connected ... that's God. But humans are clouded by the illusion of an individual mind.

we believe in god because we are weak and even weaker than weak and as a proof for that is by human nature and history of human being say that at any time humans have god

All your questions will be answer?...oh yes, I forgot that reason for believing, it is very common. People doesn′t like to think, because TO THINK HURTS!...it is difficult...so it is better to read a book with all the answers and that will keep you from actually using your brain...if we all decided to follow your advise, we would surely be in the 13th century all over again...

All of those people out there who believe in GOD do so because that is how they were brought up or taught to believe, we all make choices and the fact is that we as humans cannot develop without a purpose or in this case a 'HOPE'. Throughout history humanity has always had a purpose be it either conquest, dominion, technology, knowledge or power from money and the like, our desire to live is the only real answer, as it is a desire to achieve something or aim for something. Religion fits to most people but to some who are more open minded always leave room for improvement in the face of implied 'HOPE'. Religion is a way for people to aim for something by means of improving themselves, GOD cannot be proven real or fake as all who believe cannot be convinced otherwise and vice versa. For all of you seeking turth out there you simply find it in your everyday lives, my philosophy is if you have three of the five senses in relation to somehting that is the truth. And for all of the Christians out there much respect, however i must mention that science has already proven beyond a doubt that evloution is the truth. Our genetic makeup consists of the proof, however i respect your choices and ideas as any other atheist and consider your place in this world with appreciation and respect.

Peace to all and remeber your only limit is your desire to accomplish.

I watched a program on NGC and when i saw it, i know for sure that god and the bible not excist. my opinion
