Walt Disney has just released a first look at Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, in the form of stunning, imaginative concept art. The images, which first appeared at USA Today showcase a strange and beautifully detailed take on the Alice world, one which is, as you’d expect from Burton, far beyond anything we’ve scene done with the concept before in either scale or scope.
Below you’ll see concept art depicting Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, as well as gorgeous artwork depicting a meetings between Alice and The White Rabbit, the Tweedles, and Wonderland’s talking roses.
