Donnie Darko's daddy, Richard Kelly, is back this fall with a brand new thriller which will hopefully make more sense than his last one. It’s called The Box, and now it has a trailer.
The film stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden as a couple with horrendous, fake, southern accents visited by a mysterious man with only half a face. The stranger is played by Frank Langella (or at least half of him) and he gives them a box and offers them a choice. Push the button inside it, or don’t. Push it and someone you don’t know will die, while you get one million dollars. Don’t push it and apparently a lot of really exciting thriller music will play until you do.
