I’m suddenly excited about WB’s remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. They’ve just sent us the first ever image of the new Freddy Krueger and even though you can’t see his face… yep still goddamn scary.
The new A Nightmare on Elm Street has Jackie Earle Haley, last seen kicking ass and freaking people out in Watchmen as Rorschach, taking over the iconic Freddy role from the equally iconic Robert Englund. It’s a re-imagining of the classic horror franchise, but all the staples are in place. It’s still about a serial killer who wears claws and stalks people in their dreams.
