Tron: Legacy has a bad guy. It’s Michael Sheen, who broke the news himself, earlier today on Twitter and then was confirmed later on by Disney.
No word on exactly how Sheen’s bad guy character will fit or who he’ll be. However, he’d be a perfect replacement for fellow Brit David Warner, who played the Master Control Progam’s top henchman Sark. Will Sheen be Sark 2.0, or some entirely new, evil, inter-computer force? Sheen describes him as “not a person at all” which definitely makes him some sort of computer program. We’ll let you know when we know.
Tron: Legacy is headed for a fall 2010. It’s the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
