With Cloverfield hitting screens tomorrow, the anticipation from the J.J. Abrams produced move gets to shift to the Abrams directed movie: Star Trek. We all know the teaser trailer for the latest Trek chapter will accompany Cloverfield and should hit online shortly thereafter. We’ll bring it to you as soon as we find it, but for now we’ve got something less exciting to report.
The official website for Abrams Star Trek has arrived online… or at least a placeholder for it. Right now it just consists of a flashy Star Trek emblem with the “Under Construction” message. No doubt it will go live here in the next few days, along with the new trailer, but damn if they don’t make an under construction page still look cool.
Star Wars fans camped out in line for tickets, but Trek fans can go through the same trial online, from the comfort of their own homes. Head over to
www.paramount.com/startrek/ and camp out for the arrival of the site and trailer, or just register to be notified when the real site arrives.
