Remember that commercial from a few years ago for Sony Bravia, where they bounced millions of bouncy balls down the streets of San Francisco? Adam Sandler seems to, since he’s practically re-enacting the scene in his upcoming movie, Bedtime Stories. Only, probably to the delight of every kid in the world, it’s not bouncy balls any more but gumballs. Sing it with me now: “If all the raindrops were lemon drops and gumdrops…”
New pictures have emerged from the Bedtime Stories set over at JFX Online, and they show Sandler protecting himself from a hailstorm of gumballs with nothing but an umbrella. There’s a video too, but it shows essentially nothing that the photos don’t show. The pictures are actually really gorgeous—nothing more visually appealing than a bunch of brightly colored circles.
The concept of Bedtime Stories is that Sandler is telling his children stories that suddenly start to come true. You know, kind of like Jumanji, but probably with fewer scary animals. Maybe he’s singing them the lemon drops and gumdrops song in this? Either way, the movie sounds cute, and if the rest of the images are as pretty pretty as this one, I’m so there. Check out some small images below, or head to JFX for the full-size versions.
