20th Century Fox promised us the first ever trailer for X-Files: I Want To Believe would appear online at precisely 12:01 am, on Monday May 12th. The film’s official site here has in fact, been counting it down.
It is now well past midnight on Monday May 12th in both the Eastern and Central time zones, the countdown clock on the official site has reached zero… and we have no trailer.
Has Fox forgotten they promised to release it? Have they changed their mind? Or did they simply mean 12:01 PST time and neglected to set their countdown timer to be PST time zone specific? Nobody knows. We’re all stuck waiting in the dark together.
Keep checking this page, it’s bound to appear at some point, and when it does we’ll have it for you here. Hey Fox, we want to believe, but you have to give us something to believe in first!
In the meantime, they may not have given us the trailer, but they have started their viral marketing campaign. Nothing more important these days than a movie’s viral marketing. So while you wait, here’s two viral videos released over the weekend, featuring Mulder and Scully being all viral.
