HOLLYWOOD - Former basketball star Dennis Rodman has been charged with spousal battery in connection with his arrest at a Los Angeles hotel earlier this month.
The star was arrested after allegedly attacking his girlfriend during a drunken feud at the hotel on April 30--and entered rehab in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, five days later on May 5.
Rodman has been charged with three misdemeanors, including one count of brandishing a deadly weapon and dissuading a witness.
He could face up to 36 months in jail, one year of probation, domestic violence counseling and a protective order if found guilty of the charges.
Rodman is due to appear in court on May 22.
