HOLLYWOOD - Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi was crowned the winner of TV show Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday--the second woman to win since the series began in 2005.

The athlete and her dancing partner, Mark Ballas, beat football star Jason Taylor to win the sixth season of the hit program--notching a perfect score for their final jive dance.

Chilean hunk Cristian de la Fuente came third in the competition, despite being dogged by an arm injury during the last few weeks of the show.

Yamaguchi is the first female to be crowned champion of the celebrity dance show since model Kelly Monaco won the the show's first season in 2005.
