Here's the latest from the world of Michael Bay's Transformers. As always, Transformers are as much about the toys as whatever makes it up on screen. So actoys has posted the first pictures we've seen anywhere of Optimus Prime and Starscream in their protoform.

What the heck is a protoform? Well Transformers are from another planet, and it wouldn't make much sense for them to disguise themselves as Earth vehicles in outer space now would it? This is what Prime and Starscream will look like before scanning Earth vehicles and being rebuilt to blend in here.
