If you follow the tabloids at all (shame on you), then you probably know that Lindsay Lohan has been trying (half-heartedly) to clean up her act. Unfortunately, it’s too little too late for the movie she was supposed to do with Channing Tatum. The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Lohan has already partied the movie, Poor Things, to a development hell death.
Their source, which appears to be some sort of set designer, claims to have received a call from one of the film’s producers confirming that funding for the project has been pulled. When Lindsay checked into rehab earlier this month, producers delayed filming for her. Now she’s out of rehab, but producers still feel her behavior is questionable and don’t want to take a risk on her. “Apparently, Ms. Lohan's antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled,” says PageSix’s set dresser who may have just wanted to get his name in the paper.
If Poor Things is really dead, then the future isn’t looking particularly rosy for Lindsay who was arrested Thursday morning for an old DUI issue. Once she gets out of jail she’ll have nothing to do but hang around the house for the foreseeable future, since Poor Things was the only job looming on her production schedule. Now she’s out of rehab, out of work, and in need of a good lawyer. If we’re lucky, maybe the release of her next movie I Know Who Killed Me later this month, will be the last we see of Lindsay Lohan.
