Turns out, Ron Perlman will be knighted alongside Nicolas Cage in the 2010 thriller, Season of the Witch. The two will play 14th Century knights who accompany a witch, who is believed to have caused the Black Plague.
Ron Perlman is more than just Hellboy! According to IMDB, he has eight projects in production, with two in the can. It seems he’s headed for mainly thrillers.
ComingSoon.net reports that The Dark Knight producer, Charles Roven, announced Perlman’s involvement in Witch at the 2008 Scream Awards. Roven has tapped Dominic Sena (Gone in 60 Sseconds) to direct, and Braigi Schut Jr. to pen the script.
