One of the films that I’ve been following production pretty closely on is the teen comedy Harold. The Spencer Breslin headliner followers a teenager who begins prematurely balding. In an attempt to cope with the incessant teasing he’s forced to endure, Harold begins hanging out at local strip joints, exploiting his aged appearance while feeding his adolescent boob fixation. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Colin Quinn, Nikki Blonsky, and and Ally Sheedy had joined the cast, but apparently, the producers are not stopping there.
According to Movie Hole, ‘Saturday Night Live’ veterans Rachel Dratch and Chris Parnell have signed on to play asshole teachers that expose Harold’s shiny head to the world. Reportedly, Parnell will take on the esteemed role of gym teacher, while Dratch will play another educator who forced the Yul Brynner looking teen to remove his baseball cap. Ohhh the humanity.
There is no reason why this movie shouldn’t be good. Every member of the cast is funny and talented, and you would have to think for this many people to sign on, the script must be pretty decent. I will be seeing this film on opening night (barring universal critical panning), and if you had any brains, you would reserve your tickets with me.
