Hugh Jackman, newly 40, just oozes sexuality and apparently we aren’t the only ones who think so -- People magazine announced Jackman as 2008’s Sexiest Man Alive.
What’s sexier than a man who is committed to his wife and family?
People magazine asked Jackman about the success behind his marriage. The Aussie actor said, “In my early 20s, I didn't have a regular girlfriend. I was single and really happy about it."
He found true love at the age of 26 on the set of an Australian TV show, "I met Deb on Correlli. She was my leading lady. It was just undeniable. I started planning to propose to her at about three months. We are happy. Deb and my kids have been the best things that have ever happened to me, without a doubt.”
Deb, his wife of 12 years, said to Jackman, “I could’ve told them that years ago!” But, of course, not wanting her husband to get too big of a head, she added in, “Obviously, Brad wasn’t available this year.”
Jackman told People magazine that he asked her, “That was a joke, right?”
