After years in development Astro Boy finally has a teaser trailer. Based on the Japanese manga series, Astro Boy is a computer animated movie about a future world where androids and humans co-exist. Astro is a robot boy with super powers, who fights to save the world from the usual bad stuff superheroes beat up.
The teaser trailer doesn’t show much, just Astro flying around and engaging in some high-speed digging. It is your first good look at the movie’s animation style, which so far I think must be described as “plasticky”. Astro Boy looks a lot like a flying Big Boy.
