John Travolta and Kelly Preston's teenage son Jett has died.

The 16-year-old passed away in the Bahamas on Friday according to TMZ.com. Jett Travolta suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, according to family attorney Michael Ossi. He died at the scene.

Police tell TMZ that Jett was last seen going into the bathroom of their private suite sometime yesterday and that his body was found this morning at 10 a.m. by caretaker Jeff Michael Kathrein. Officials believe he hit his head on the bathtub and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.  

Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest of Travolta's two children. The actor and his wife also have a daughter, named Ella.
