John Travolta will not be attending this year’s Golden Globe awards after the tragic death of his teen son earlier this month, reports FoxNews.com.
Travolta, who was slated to be a presenter at the Golden Globes on Sunday, is nominated for Best Original Song for his duet with Bolt co-star Miley Cyrus, "I Thought I Lost You."
"Our hearts go out to him," Byron Howard told UsMagazine.com at the L.A. Critics Choice Awards on Thursday, Jan. 8. "He has got such a soft heart, and is such a genuine guy. He loves his family obviously and we really feel for him."
Added
Chris Williams: "He spoke of his family quite often and very lovingly, so we cant imagine what he is going through. We are definitely thinking of him."
