The development process for Gatchaman, a feature film version of the popular anime, has been a little shaky. We saw a preview clip last fall, but the movie doesn't even have a director, now that TMNT helmer Kevin Munroe is off the project.
But Imagi Entertainment is forging ahead with the movie, apparently, having debuted another new image from the film at the 2009 Tokyo INternational Toy Fair. According to the image at Twitchfilm.net, the movie will be released in 2010-- again, interesting given that they don't have a director.
Check out the full-size image over there, of Jose Asakura, and see if it gets you excited enough to overlook the fact that there's no director for this film.
