Rashida Jones, Screenwriter?

Rashida Jones is best known at this point as the pretty face from The Office and I Love You Man, or maybe as Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton's daughter. But she's also a Harvard graduate, and apparently all that education hasn't gone to just her acting skills. Jones has sold her first script, written with Will McCormack, to Fox Atomic, and she'll star in the sort-aromantic comedy.

The script, Celeste and Jesse Forever, is about a young couple going through a divorce and trying to stay friends. Variety doesn't say who will be starring opposite Jones, but given that McCormack is also an actor, you have to wonder why they didn't pick him. Maybe they're holding out for a bigger name?
