Gerard Butler’s next movie is a rom-com. So most of his fans are probably more interested in his next, next movie a very cool looking sci-fi thriller from the director of Crank and Crank: High Voltage. It’s called Gamer and in it Sparta’s greatest warrior plays a man in a futuristic world where humans can control other humans trapped in massive, multiplayer online gaming environments. Butler is a player from the game, and he wants out. To do it he’ll have to take down the game’s mastermind Hal. It sounds kind of like Tron meets The Running Man.
