Twilight star Robert Pattinson is circling the wagons up with Hugh Jackman to save Rachel Weisz from Indian attack. Variety says all three are set to star in a movie called Unbound Captives, written and directed by Madeline Stowe.
The film is about a woman (Weisz) whose husband is murdered and children kidnapped by Comanche in 1859. Hugh Jackman plays a frontiersman who rescues her. Pattinson will play a son, though whether he’s kin to Hugh or Rachel is unclear.
Hugh Jackman needs to be in a good western. Australia wasn’t it, but he showed potential for roping cattle and wearing wide brimmed hats. This could work. Unbound Captives is Stowe’s directorial debut, but she’s passionate about it and Fox paid her a pretty penny for the script which usually means there’s something to it.
Till now, Madeline Stowe has probably best been know for her work as an actress in movies like 12 Monkeys and The Last of the Mohicans.
