If I'm understanding the Twilight franchise correctly, seeing Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner together in one room is a big deal, and not just because all three of them are so popular with teenagers that the combination could probably cause a squealing black hole. No, from my understanding there's a serious rivalry between Pattinson's vampire character and Lautner's werewolf character, and the two of them warring over Bella (Kristen Stewart) has the power to tear the space-time continuum. Or something.

Maybe some of this can be cleared up at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31, where the powerful Twilight trio will present exclusive new footage from New Moon, the movie that presumably will have just finished shooting by the time the awards air. It makes sense for MTV to jump on the Twilight bandwagon, given the identical target audiences and the fact that MTV's Movies Blog occasionally resembles a Twilight fansite. Will we be able to hear anything Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner say over the screaming in the audience? That's another question entirely.
