It seems like Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice has been filming in New York City for the last year, given how many reports we get of stunt cars injuring pedestrians, or just how many times I've walked through midtown and seen huge swaths of blocks ringed with orange cones for the production.
And yup, they're still filming! And Stitch Kingdom's Brad was on hand to snap some photos of Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell filming a giant chase scene involving lots and lots of cloned New York City taxis. That's Brad's theory about the plot, at least, which he gathered by noting the fleet of identical taxis given the same cab number. Apparently Molina, who plays rival sorcerer Horvath, and Kebbell, as professional illusionist Drake Stone, clone all the taxis to make it impossible for the lead sorcerer played by Nicolas Cage to find them.
Sounds pretty neat, right? I've got my doubts about this movie as much as any sane person should, but still, these set photos have been fun to see. Check out of a selection of them below, and head to Stitch Kingdom to see Brad's full gallery of 70.
