Even The Concept Art For 9 Is Spooky

Even with a whole summer's worth of blockbusters looming ahead of us, everyone is getting excited about Shane Acker's 9, which looks something like an animated Terminator, or at least a way to make cute animated characters in an interesting and dark way. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check out the trailer here. If you're already counting down the days until September 9, look below for some concept art from the film that MTV Movies Blog posted exclusively.
They received some images which give an idea of how the character of 9 (voiced by Elijah Wood) was created, and what makes him different from all the other burlap puppets. Unfortunately the images are fairly small, so it's hard to get a good look for now. More images like the one below can all be found over there.
