The drama series that could mark Patrick Swayze's last acting job has been cancelled.
The Beast wasn't a big ratings hit when it first appeared on TV screens earlier this year, and executives at the A&E network have now confirmed there will be no more episodes.
Swayze, 56, shot the first, and now only, season of the show while battling pancreatic cancer and won acclaim for his portrayal of a tough FBI agent.
