The other best way to speed up your file download from bittorrent server by torrent client applications is manage your router modem which had a module called "port forwarding" or a title like that.
The way to manage this port number determine to the port number you used at your torrent client apps. Lets used my number for example, 6996, which I put at my BitCommet for UDP and TCP port listener configuration (Connection - Listen Port).
Go to your router modem and search for a sound like "port forwarding" (am using Aztech modem, this menu is under "Application" menu). Pay attention that you're work under your IP value (by the default, it was). Create a new rule like "bitcommet" under "user" profile. Make sure a TCP-UDP Protocols option was choosen. Write down the port value (6996) at "Port Start", "Port End", and "Port Map" fields. Commit your changes and save this new rule for your router......
