Pandemonium Fortress

This is what the first 2 minutes of the anime looks like.  The story takes place in Hinamizawa.  Unfortunately in the first act keiichi is the victim and slowly his mind distorts.  In every act it seems someone takes on the villain and the other the victim or numerous victims according to how much the villain has been corrupted.   The deaths happen once every year, one dies and one vanishes.  The village believes this to be the Shrine God’s curse.   From right to left on the top picture there is Rena Ryuga is one of the main villains in this act.  She has an obsession with cute things and usually sweet (huge similarity to kaede from shuffle).  Mion Sonozaki is the tomboy and leader of the club she drags keiichi in.  She has a hidden crush on him but also turns out to be a villain in this act (Asa from shuffle lol).  Maebara Keiichi moves is the dude with the metal bat above( The paranoia agent successor).  He moves back into town and befriends many cute girls.  Rika Furude who is naturally sweet yet probably knows everything since she is one of the head families.  Shion Sonozaki is not present in the first act but she is Mion identical twin sister except with a slightly different personality.  Satako houjo, the one who has an obsession with traps and sometimes annoying.  Satoshi Houjo is Satako brother that was said to have been snatched by demons.  26 episodes and the new version came out earlier this year called Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai.  I think it will shed light because some of the things still confuse me.  If you cannot take blood and extreme violence and sadness don’t watch this.  Preview Video link:
