BitComet is a good torrent client - but use PeerGuardian!

Hi guys. Newbie here. I'm a big bittorrent and BitComet fan. Its still one of the best torrent clients around imo. Very reliable and slick. However I also prefer to be safe. Make sure you always encrypt your transfers for one thing. It helps ensure user privacy. But more importantly you need a sort of firewall for blocking non-tracker spies. The best security is PeerGuardian seriously. It blocks P2P, adware, spyware, government, and other IP addresses and updates the database every single day.

This information is good, but I question why someone would post this with links to download the programs from a 3rd party website (filepig). Either this is spam promoting that website, or its purpose could be much darker, to distribute trojans, or worse.

In any case, you should always download bitcomet from bitcomet.com, and peerguardian from phoenix labs.

I use filepig.org all the time for all my software. I find it very reliable and I have had very good luck finding everything I need, especially in the audio-video, and the imaging categories, so IMO that person must feel the same way as I do.

I am genuinely impressed with it.
