first of start with a wired internet connection if you are not doing so already. By using a wireless internet connection it slows your internet down. Next, the entire point of bitcomet basically comes down to the more that you upload the faster your downloads will be. So keep your tasks running after they are finished so that they can be uploaded. This is the current ranking system and the higher you are the faster your downloads will be. http://blog.bitcomet.com/mrpappagiorgio/post_88739/ there is the link. Next when you choose to download a file from your choice of site, make sure that the file you are downloading has alot of seeds and peers, this means the amount of people you can connect too. the higher this number the faster you download will be. if it is movies you are downloading i like to use axxo or fxg torrents because there are a lot of people that download these files and this means there are a lot of people that you can connect too. Lastly during certain times of the days downloads can be slow because few people are online at that time. So if you download at later times of the day such as night you can increase your download speed.

Hope this helps feel free to contact me with any questions.

Same suggestion for you my friend......I agree with mrpappagiorgio (NIck) just keep uploading. Helps a lot honestly, worked for me, once u download a torrent file don't stop it keep the upload process on (running) (its does not slower ur downspeed anyways) ...... till the d time you do not wish to delete d file for move it somewhere.... moving or deleting the file/path will also stop the upload....... hope dis help... cheers ;-)

mrpappagiorgio (NIck): Keep up da GOOD work man......

Hi Mate,

Look in the OPTIONS and make sure your settings are to unlimited , if thats no use then try diferent ratios ie 1000 download ,100 upload.also at the bottom right is the listen port light it must be green to get the beswt result . Nick is the man and has helped me before . its the best programme out there so stick with it and read the blogs . peace

Ok Since even after two years I learn something new every day let me take the time to help you learn something new. If you need assistance instant message or email me at clubcre@yahoo.com. I am using a laptop and I have been for more than 2 years now. I am currently running a linksys router model wrt56g. You have a what is called a static IP adress and you have a UNIQUE IP address. Now the static Ip address will change each time you turn your computer on and off. and your unique Ip will always stay the same. You can go to www.auditmypc.com to get your IP adresses and you can also use this site to test ports and other things. Now for the hard part if you are using a router wirelessly or not or even if you are using a modem you will have to do what is called a port forward. Port forwarding lets programs open certain ports that usually are blocked by a fire wall. If you are using a router simply type the Ip adress of that router into your browser and you will get a set up page. Go to this link and set up your router name and brand specific www.portforward.com It will take you step by step in finding all your info and setting up every thing you will need to forwsrd your ports. Now even after you do this it will speed up just a tiny bit. Because what the websites dont mention is that you have what is called a port triggering tab under most routers. For my linksys it is under the Gaming tab then under port triggering tab. You will also have to set tthis page up it will trigger the ports that you have forwarded. You set it up just as you did your port forward only you can set it so it triggers multiple ports at one time so if one port is cloogged with traffic you can always switch ports easily with out having to go back and trigger over and over and all it does is sends a ping to the ports u specify to trigger them. Now if you are just running off of a modem that is the best way to download. You will get ultimate speeds. How ever you can still port forward those also.

My hobbies include hiking, canoeing, and spending time with my little girl. My plans for the future are to have more children and get married as I am 3
