bitcomet 1.13 on xp eats memory

in last 2 or 3 days bitcomet 1.13 seems to take way to much memory on a pc using windows xp sp3, i use freeram xppro a memory freeing tool thats set to cut in and free memory when it drops below a set amount eg 100mb ram left of 1gig i have however the amount of memory i have left somethimes now drops way below that....does bitcomet have some error causing this or could a fake torrent file cause this??? ps dont have this problem on a vista pc so far help please

1 GB is not actually anymore :)

People are using 2 , 4 , 6 and 8 Gigs of RAM now :)

Without knowing exactly what bitcomet was doing, and all the options selected, it would be hard to say if you have a bug, or if your just using bitcomet in an extreme way, such as many tasks, and large disc cache.

I'm now running bitcomet on two computers, one with 1.5gb ram, and bitcomet is seeding four torrents and using about 20mB of ram. The other is a 4gb ram, and because of a larger disc cache setting, bitcomet uses 60mB ram. If I run several http/ftp and torrent tasks at once, I have seen it use much more memory, but it usually clears itself soon afterwords.
