Ever since I installed Bitcomet 1.13 I can't see my score/rank etc. How can I restore this pane?

The check mark is ticked. This is the content of the pane:

What you can try:

Search online for a program you can use to view this web content.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Your getting an error because your unable to reach the http server that provides this info. The same error you get when trying to view a website that isn't functioning, or is to busy to display.

If this problem doesn't resolve itself, you may have a security program blocking the ip address of the website.

I use 1.13 and have no problem, and the only way I can get it not to display is by disabling the "favorites".

Normal website outages are common, and since this system is in beta testing, this should be expected.

Also, if your using a program like peer guardian, make sure you do NOT block http.

The pane was ok if I'm using Windows Sp2 and IE 6 but when I upgraded to Sp3 and IE 8 the pane is not available.

I believe the problem is your Internet explorer. The error message you describe is an IE error. BitComet attempts to connect to our stats with your IE, since all windows versions have it. I can tell you that I don't have this problem and I also have installed IE8, so you must have something in your settings, or some software or firewall blocking the connection.

Can you give me your settings in IE8? The software I'm using now are the same in my previous OS, except, of course, My new SP3. I checked the firewall settings, all Bitcomet are in the exceptions these are Bitcomet 22990 TCP, Bitcomet 22990 UDP, Bitcomet 9885 TCP, Bitcomet 9885 UDP and Bitcomet.exe.
