I like jewelry for it is beautiful and it can make me
beautiful,I have collected a lot of jewelry which are famous all over the
world. Here is the introduction of the jewelry:
Harry Winston
Harry Winston's father Jacob started a small jewelry
business after he and Harry's mother immigrated to the United States from the
Ukraine, so Harry had an in right from the start.
Winston was among the most famous jewelers in the world,
well-known to the general public. In the 1953 musical film Gentlemen Prefer
Blondes, the song "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" includes the spoken
interjection "Talk to me, Harry Winston, tell me all about it!" The Lauren
Weisberger comic novel Chasing Harry Winston was published in May 2008.
Today, the Harry Winston Diamond Corporation operates
seven salons in the U.S., in New York, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Dallas,
Honolulu, Bal Harbour, and Chicago, and ten salons in other countries. Harry's
son Ronald Winston plays a managerial part in the company.
Tiffany Jewelry
When talking about Tiffany Jewelry,I must give the
introduction of history of Tiffany Jewelry. It is appeas that Louis Comfort
Tiffany waited until after his father's death (Charles Lewis Tiffany) in 1902
before beginning to create jewelry. On March 22, 1902 Tiffany was approved to
become a member of Tiffany & Co.'s Board of Directors, afterwards becoming
vice-president and art director. This motion gave Tiffany the ability to make
executive choices, without being under the shadow of his father any longer
Tiffany was able to focus his creative energies on his jewelry.Tiffany began to
dabble with jewelry designs in 1902 at Tiffany Furnaces, with the intent of
showing his pieces as part of Tiffany & Co's display at the St.
Cartier Jewelry
The most important steps in Cartier's family business
were made over several generations by the goldsmith Louis Francois Cartier, his
son Alfred Cartier, and his three grandsons, Pierre, Jacque and Louis Francois.
While his father Alfred managed the production of jewelry, Louis Francois and
his two brothers, Pierre and Jacques, were the ones to help the family business
expand. They eventually turned the Cartier brand into the most well-known name
in the world of jewelry and watchmaking. In 1899 the Cartier family moved their
Paris store to the elegant Rue de la Paix; later stores in London (1902), Moscow
(1908) and New York (1909) followed.Louis Cartier was a famous French watchmaker
and businessman known worldwide for elegant and extravagant watch designs.
Juicy Couture Jewelry
Juicy Couture
Jewelry is the best jewelry I like,I have lots of Juciy Charm
,juicy necklace and juicy
rings. This jewlry is not too expensive,There are many cheap juicy on
sale. Here is the history of the Juicy Couture:
In 1994, Gela Nash-Taylor Gela Jacobson) and Pamela
Skaist-Levy, both residing in Pacoima, California, decided to create their own
fashion label, Travis Jeans, selling maternity pants . In 1996 the girls changed
the name to Juicy Couture, the aim was to create sexy girly apparel and a label
equal to that of other major labels, but to be more affordable to the general
public (although this is no longer the case, as most of their apparel is priced
at more than $100 USD). Their line, which they called "Juicy Couture," was to
include a variety of athletic and casual wear, most notably the velour tracksuit
that won Juicy Couture a great deal of popularity. Taylor and Levy did not have
much money with which to start their label, thus leading to a slow start-up of
the company. In 1996, after establishing their company and needing to get the
brand in the public eye, the women sent their completed designs to celebrities.
Madonna, credited with turning the velour tracksuit into a trend, was sent a
track suit with "Madge" embroidered on it (Juicy Couture rarely uses "Madge" on
their clothing anymore). Madonna was seen wearing the tracksuit, and the company
became a success almost instantly. In 2006, Taylor and Levy introduced a new
line called'Couture Couture'consisting of 20 pieces and higher prices. Today,
Juicy Couture's women's clothing remains generally the same, although the
company now carries men's clothing, cosmetics, jewelery, handbags, and
children's clothing. Liz Claiborne is reported to have sold $258 million worth
of Juicy Couture merchandise in the first six months of 2008 despite the almost
worldwide recession.
In 2008, Juicy Couture released a plus-size line called
"Extra Juicy". It was originally a Nordstrom exclusive, but is now widely
available. In June 2009, the menswear designer left Juicy Couture, thus the
company halted production on their men's line.
